Y.E.S. Uganda stove project

In much of rural Africa, deforestation is a major issue due to people needing wood to burn either directly for cooking or for making charcoal. A solar aided stove would reduce the amount of wood needed to cook food for the orphanage. It would also create an opportunity to teach the children valuable cooking skills that could carry over to better jobs as they got older.
We were so happy to be able to arrange to have one of these solar aided stoves installed at the orphanage. Later in the year we were able to arrange a second stove.
